Love the list + DIY tips!

(1.) BLUSHING BRIDE MINI CALLA LILIES

Available all year round. Approximately $4-$8 per stem. Comes in a bunch of 10 stems. Stems are sturdy but not manageable.

Mini Calla Lilies are pretty tiny, and you will need at least 30 stems to make a decent-sized bouquet. They arrive ready to be processed. No stripping or cleaning is needed.

DIY BOUQUET: They have to be upright and not bent too much, or the stem will break. The stems are hollow, and they will be light. When you pin it, don’t push too hard, or the stems will get squished. Handle lightly.

DIY CENTERPIECE: Great on its own, using multiple stem vases with varying heights. Or also easy to submerge in water; add a floating candle on top to keep it from floating out.

(2.) BLUSH ENHANCED HYDRANGEA

Available all year round. Approximately $4-$8 per stem. Usually purchased by the stem but with a minimum of 10 stems.

Hydrangeas have thick stems and will have many green leaves that have to be cut (unless, of course, you want to keep it!), not to take away from the beauty of the big bloom. They need to be in the water at all times.

When they arrive, they have to be stripped/processed and put into a freshwater source.

DIY BOUQUET: Not recommended for bouquets. These flowers have to be attached to a water source at all times.

DIY CENTERPIECE: They are great grouped in a vase. Approximately 4 stems will look decent in a 4″ short round cylinder. Cut the stems at an angle and insert them in the vase diagonally, starting the placement around the rims of the vase.

Check to ensure that the stems are all submerged in water to avoid any wilting.

(3.) LIGHT BLUSH PEONY

Seasonal. Mostly available in Spring. Prices will HIGHLY vary depending on the season and variety. Approximately $5-$9 per stem. Comes in a bunch of 10 stems.

They arrive pretty tight/closed. Peonies will have to sit in the water for about 2-3 days (some longer!) to start to open up.

Sensitive to heat and can also easily wilt. Avoid direct sunlight.

DIY BOUQUET: Stems are pretty sturdy and can withstand minor manipulation or bending.

DIY CENTERPIECE: They are great on their own to really showcase their beauty. Consider bud vases with varying heights. Bud vases are easier to set up.

(4.) FAITH LIGHT PINK/LAVENDER ROSES

Available all year round. Approximately $3-$6 per stem. Comes in a bunch of 25 stems.

Roses are a favorite for any newlywed-to-be! Strong stems can last without water for a whole day (if not until the next day!)

Usually, roses arrive pretty tight/closed. You can process them and let them sit in the water for 2-3 days to wait for them to bloom. In addition, you can ‘force open or reflex‘ them to avoid processing/waiting time for it to bloom.

Even if you purchase grocery store flowers and not from a florist or supplier, you can still easily create DIY gorgeous organic and garden-style arrangements.

DIY BOUQUET: Arrange in an angle to get the stems to support each other. Stems are not bendable but can be strategically placed to ‘support’ each other and not ‘break.’

Towards the end, when you ‘squeeze’ the stems together to tie the bouquet together, do this slowly and adjust the stems as you feel them being ‘forced’ and on the verge of breaking.

DIY CENTERPIECE: As per usual, bud vases are super easy to work with. If you have already reflexed the roses, they can be a show stopper on their own – and when grouped.

(6.) LIGHT PINK RANUNCULUS FRESH CUT FLOWER

Generic varieties are available all year round. Approximately $4-$8 each. Pricing will greatly vary depending on the season. Comes in a bunch of 10 stems.

Ranunculus has sensitive stems. Be gentle with them. The blooms are also very sensitive; please handle them delicately.

DIY BOUQUET: We would suggest using ranunculus as an ‘add-on’ bloom and placing them right around the middle of the bouquet so that other blooms can ‘support’ id.

DIY CENTERPIECE: These are also great for individual bud vases.

(7.) HYBRID TEA ROSE SWEET AVALANCHE

Available all year round. Approximately $4-$6 per stem. Comes in a bunch of 10 stems.

Spray roses are much smaller than the standard rose. A stem will have at least 3-4 mini blooms, making them great for filler flowers. Also, it adds height and texture to your bouquet.

(11.) BLUSH TULIP

Can be available year-round. But the high time is late winter and mid-spring. Approximately $2-$5 per stem. Comes in a bunch of 10 stems.

Similar to ranunculus, Tulips have sensitive stems. Be gentle with them. The blooms are also very sensitive; please handle them delicately.

They arrive pretty tight and will need to be treated. They will have to sit in the water for 3-4 days to open fully.

DIY BOUQUET: We would suggest using tulips as an ‘add-on’ bloom and placing them right around the middle of the bouquet so that other blooms can ‘support’ it.

DIY CENTERPIECE: These are also great for individual bud vases. Also, tall vases where the tulip stems can freely move around. They make a great ‘flowy’ arrangement as their legs tend to grow to move around when they drink water.

(12.) LA VIE EN BLUSH SPRAY ROSES

Available all year round. Approximately $4-$6 per stem. Comes in a bunch of 10 stems.

Spray roses are much smaller than the standard rose. A stem will have at least 3-4 mini blooms, making them great for filler flowers. Also, it adds height and texture to your bouquet.
