PAID EVENT AGREEMENT, WAIVER, AND RELEASE
This Agreement is made and entered into as of the date of registration by and between the event participant (“Attendee”) and Peppermint & Co. Ltd. (“Organizer”).
1. Event Details

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release
- Attendee acknowledges that participation in the Event is voluntary and assumes all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to, accidents, personal injury, illness, or property damage.
- Organizer is not liable for any personal injuries, accidents, allergic reactions, or adverse effects resulting from the consumption of snacks served at the Event.
- Attendee agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, speakers, volunteers, employees, and vendors from any claims, demands, or legal actions arising from participation in the Event.
3. Snacks Disclaimer
- Snacks and drinks served at the Event may contain common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, or soy.
- It is the responsibility of the Attendee to review available ingredient information and make informed choices regarding their consumption.
- The Organizer is not responsible for any adverse reactions or medical issues resulting from food or beverage consumption.
4. Event Content & No Guarantee of Outcomes
- The Organizer makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of the content presented at the Event.
- The Organizer, speakers, and affiliates shall not be held responsible for any decisions made by the Attendee based on the Event content.
- All views expressed by speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Organizer.
5. Photography & Recording Consent
- The Event will include professional photo coverage. By attending, the Attendee grants permission for their likeness to be captured in photographs or videos for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes.
- The event session will be recorded for replay access. If you prefer not to be included in the recording, please notify the Organizer at least four (4) business days before the event. Your image and likeness will be blurred in the replay.
- Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute any portion of the Event content without prior written consent from the Organizer.
6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual with prior written notice to the Organizer.
- If the Event is canceled by the Organizer, a full refund will be issued.
7. General Provisions
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Ontario, Canada.
- Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Ontario.
- This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Attendee and the Organizer and supersedes any prior agreements, written or oral.
By registering and attending the Event, the Attendee acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
